Glo Fiber Internet Line Construction in West Manchester Township

Glo Fiber, powered by Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (“Shentel”) will be installing direct fiber-to-the-home internet connections in West Manchester Township.  Several of our neighboring municipalities are also working with Shentel to bring this service to residential and commercial customers.

Construction is scheduled to begin the week of June 24th in the area of Birch Alley, West College Avenue, Corn Alley, Dewey Street, Heiges Avenue, South Herman Street, Hoke Street, Lafayette Street, West Locust Street, Overbrook Drive, West Princess Street, Salem Road, Spangler Avenue and Wheat Alley.  Construction in this area will mainly be aerial work and will have minimal impacts on Township residents. Shentel’s construction crews are anticipating to be in the above areas for approximately 2 weeks for installation.

The construction phases will be posted on the Township’s website under “Latest and Breaking News” as well as through the Township’s “MyWMT” app.  You may download the “MyWMT” app by texting “Hello” to 855-97-69968 and follow the prompts.

As part of the construction process, there will be flags to mark utilities in yards and roadways.  Please do not remove or relocate these flags.
