Township Plans for Development in 2035

West Manchester Township is preparing a 10-year plan to address existing and future development, local infrastructure and services, and related issues.

A public meeting was held on November 20, 2023 at 7pm at the Township Office. The planning team introduced the purpose of the plan and its schedule for preparation through Spring 2024. The planning team invited citizens into conversation at three stations to discuss issues and opportunities related to land use and zoning, housing, streets and sidewalks, water/sewer/stormwater, parks and recreation, public safety, and other facilities and services that impact of life in the township.

Short Survey Open through December 8, 2023

In parallel with the meeting, the planning team opened a 6-question survey that asks: how long you’ve a citizen of the Township, what influences your choice to live, work, or own a business here, and your perspective on development conditions and opportunities.

Next Public Open House

The Township will host another open house in Spring 2024 to present the preliminary recommendations for land use/zoning and other topics. We look forward to seeing you again!
